About Götz
Götz is an award-winning director and filmmaker, born in New York City in 1987 to Peruvian and Austrian parents, and now based in Vienna. His work explores the emotional truth of human experience, bridging performance and visual storytelling through a collaborative approach to filmmaking.
Since his debut in 2013, he has directed international projects for brands such as Humanic, Makita, and Austrian Audio, while continuing to develop personal films including the feature Letting Go (Chelsea Film Festival, Marché du Film) and the acclaimed King of Norway and Fading Frames.
As a guest lecturer, Götz draws on his directing and production experience to guide students in connecting authentically with the camera and deepening their understanding of cinematic expression.
